Confidence Man Lights Up Cambridge Venue
On Sunday night at the Sinclair in Cambridge, an incredible musical experience unfolded as Confidence Man, accompanied by Veggi, took to the stage. Their performance changed my perspective on electronic music for the better!
Veggi kicked off the night with a fantastic set, featuring unique spins on songs like "Head Lock" by Imogen Heap and "Can't Get You Out of My Head" by Kylie Minogue, among others. He had amazing energy and truly got the crowd dancing, making him a perfect choice as the opener.
Then, Confidence Man, hailing from Australia, surprised me with how polished their performance was. Their choreography was perfectly synchronized, featuring interesting moves combined with slight acrobatics and stunning lighting effects. I was thoroughly impressed. One of the highlights was their outfit changes, they started the show in all-black outfits—one member in a suit and the other in a black babydoll dress. About a third of the way through the performance, they changed into my favorite outfits—one wore white with light-up shoulder pads, while the other sported light-up "boobs." It was super fun and perfectly complemented the upbeat songs being played. Later, they switched to black pants and a black two-piece outfit with ruffled shorts.
Overall, I highly recommend checking them out; they are truly something special to witness. Needless to say, I will be attending “C.O.O.L Party” events more often!
