Silversun Pickups & The New Regime Invade House of Blues

On Monday, March 2nd, The New Regime invaded House of Blues in Boston with Silversun Pickups. The bands played to an energetic, packed house!

The New Regime is a three piece band out of California. Fronted by American singer, musician and songwriter Ilan Rubin. He is the most sought after drummer working with bands such as Nine Inch Nails, Paramore, and Angels & Airwaves. These guys opened up the show and really blew the roof of the place! The crowd went wild from the moment they walked on to the moment they walked off stage. They played songs off of his new album Mind, Heart, Body, and Soul. The album has been released in three parts so far (Mind, Heart, and Body) and the fourth release, coming March 6th, will be the final piece to the puzzle creating a full-length album.

“This song is about being whatever you wanna be!” Rubin exclaimed before playing You Can Be (Whoever You Want To Be). The crowd loved it! They had everybody dancing to their sound as the night went on. He even got the crowd involved having them sing “I want your heart mind body and soul” for one song. They thanked the crowd for being fantastic before welcoming Silversun Pickups to the stage. From the lights, to the sound, to the overall vibe, these guys are incredible! They know how to put on a great show and make everyone feel included.
