Microwave + Oso Oso @ Royale

The Royale in Boston was rocked by Microwave and Oso Oso’s co-headlining tour. Along with openers Delta Sleep and Mothé, the crowd kept up their high energy for the whole night.

Mothé and Delta Sleep

Mothé was the first opener of the night and definitely got the show started with a fun and upbeat set. The alternative indie band expressed their excitement for the tour and gratitude for the opportunity. With songs like “Debt Collector” and “photobooth,” Mothé got the audience hyped up for the following bands.

The next band to come on was Delta Sleep, and the audience welcomed them to the stage with cheers and excitement. The four-piece band from the UK rocked out on stage to “Sofa Boy” and “El Pastor,” along with others. Lead vocalist Devin Yüceil shared his appreciation to Boston for welcoming the band all the way from the UK, and got the crowd excited for Oso Oso before leaving the stage.

Oso Oso and Microwave

Oso Oso, the rock band from Long Beach, walked out wearing bucket hats to a stage decorated with plants lit by string lights; lead vocalist Jade Lilitri claimed the band was participating in “Bucket Hat Sunday.” With a longer set, the band played songs like “pensacola” and “father tracy” while the crowd sang out every word. Oso Oso ended their set with one of their most popular songs, “gb/ol h/nf.”

Now for the band the crowd had so eagerly waited for, Microwave opened their set with “Ferarri.” The audience could not contain their excitement as several people were crowd surfing at the beginning of their set, with many being pulled out by security. The four-piece band from Atlanta, Georgia kept up the high energy for their whole set, and came out for an encore before ending the night.
