DARKBLOOM TOUR
Brand of sacrifice
Brand of Sacrifice set the bar mighty high this Saturday night at the Worcester palladium. This Canadian metal band came out ready to rage with the crowd and they did not disappoint. They gave us a killer thirty minute set featuring songs off of albums Lifeblood and The Interstice.
Setlist: Dawn, Demon King, Lifeblood, Altered Eyes, Exodus, Millennium, & Eclipse.
Erra
Erra flooded the stage and hit the crowd with Pull From The Ghost, one of the bands most popular hits. They had the crowd mesmerized the entire set with their movements and powerful sound. Their set consisted of songs from their self titled album ERRA.
Setlist: Pull From The Ghost, House of Glass, Gungrave, Psalm of Sedition, Nigh To Silence, Vanish Canvas, Scorpion Hymn, Divisionary, & Snowblood.
WE CAME AS ROMANS
Time for We Came As Romans to take over the stage and blow the roof off of the venue. Feeding the crowds hunger for chaos, they kicked off the set with Daggers. They played an hour long set with songs off of albums Darkbloom, Cold Like War, and Tracing Back Roots. It was straight banger after banger! These guys play with an energy so high it’s unreal, later in the set they paid tribute to the late Kyle pavone, the bands original frontman, with One More Day as keyboardist-now-vocalist Dave Stephens sang to the crowd from an empty, dimly lit stage. The track is deeply emotional and it was felt throughout the Worcester venue — whether each individual was grieving Kyle or someone near and dear. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t shed a few tears during this one. As the track faded out and Dave left the stage, a single spotlight was left to signify kyle’s eternal spot with the group — It was a hauntingly beautiful moment.
Setlist: daggers, Golden, The Anchor, Lost in the Moment, Wasted Age, Cold Like War, Tracing Back Roots, Hope, Fade Away, Learning to Survive, One More Day, Doublespeak, Plagued, Darkbloom, Darkbloom w/ Brand of Sacrifice, & Black Hole
